Sean Blackmore has over 30 years experience in the medical industry. His career has always been dedicated to serving the patient, starting with Ossur in orthopedic braces. He led a team that pioneered common doctor use of higher quality braces for patients throughout the USA. He served as Senior VP running Ossur North America’s DME division for several years, achieving sales of $500 million for orthopedic braces.
Sean went into business for himself, collaborating on the design and manufacture of the highest quality braces at TLC Medical. During the transition from Ossur to his own bracing company, Sean became intrigued by the urgent cares. In 2012, Sean became CEO of After Hours Urgent care. Under his leadership, this Utah based chain of 7 urgent cares increased profits by over ten times and expanded its number of locations. Sean’s tenure brought innovations such as a membership program where members could visit the doctor for just ten dollars every day if they wanted and bracing to help sprains and strained muscles and ligaments heal in record time.
In 2014, Sean began to utilize his leadership skills and industry knowledge to form the Urgent Care Alliance, which represents over 1,000 urgent cares throughout the country and helps them implement best practices and purchase the best products at the best price. In 2015 Sean became inspired with the thought of fulfilling a public need and establishing new urgent cares. Recognizing his leadership skills and successful track record, the owners of Restore Health Urgent Care approached Sean and asked him to lead as CEO.
Sean is one of the founders of Restore Health and brought his considerable urgent care industry experience and contacts with him to provide an excellent medical alternative in Palm Bay for most non-life threatening illnesses and injuries.
